Hello,
So you want answers to why you feel like your life is empty, why the things you chase after do not satisfy? You are missing God in your life. God hates sin. The Bible says God is angry with the sinner every day. Sin seperates you from your God. That is the bad news. The good news is Jesus made a way to restore fellowship between God and man. You belong with God.
The Bible says:
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is (eternal) death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 10:9 That if you shall confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, You shall be saved.
John 3:3 Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
It isn't any more complicated than pledging yourself to a spouse at your wedding.
1) Confess to God your rebellion toward Him in sin.
2) Confess Jesus as Lord of your life and that God raised Him from the dead.
3) Ask your new Lord to change your heart and make you born again.
4) Be sincere and believe God is going to answer and move in your life.
God will keep His promises to you. Now go and start keeping yours with Him.
The Bible says:
Romans 6:20 For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
Romans 6:21 What fruit had you then in those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.
Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life.
You need to learn about your new relationship. Join a Bible believing Church. Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses are not true Churches. Get yourself a Bible and start reading at the book of John in the New Testament.
Jesus chose to die for you so you could become what God always intended for you, to live for Him. Your way is empty. Choose life and peace and joy, choose His way. He wants you to spend eternity with Him.
Our encounter was not an accident. Welcome to the Kingdom of God.
